Absorption of 2016 City Budget Reached 67 Percent

Jakarta Governor, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama stated the absorption of 2015 City Budget (APBD) has reached 67 percent from the total budget of Rp 65.7 trillion.

We’ve reached 67 percent, it may touch 70 percent if land purchase can be conducted rapidly

The achievement is deemed quite good, considering the bylaw APBD was ratified in last April.

"We’ve reached 67 percent, it might be 70 percent if land purchase could be conducted rapidly," he expressed, at City Hall, Tuesday (12/29).

He hoped budget absorption could be maximal in the next year. Moreover, the preparation has been using e-planning and e-budgeting. In addition, some activities that are not included have been eliminated while conducting communal review with regional working units (SKPD).

He is optimistic the budget evaluation managed by Home Ministry can be faster. Because the system used is very easy to use.

"The system is easier now," he exclaimed.

In the format that has been sent to Home Ministry, shown that the component of direct and indirect expenditure also budget allocation for education, development, and health.
